About the Chenequa Police Department

The Chenequa Police Department was established just after the incorporation of the Village of Chenequa in 1928. It is a full-service 24-hour police department with a strong community-based philosophy. The Chenequa Police Department utilizes full-time and part-time officers who work very closely with the Village Board and Village Administration staff to meet the residents' needs. Residents are encouraged to stop in get to the know the staff one-on-one.
